John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Jesus christ Rivera.... Joyce was 30 feet from the infield when he got the ball... wtf was he thinking? If that was Kris Davis throwing.. f*** yeah send him, but nobody else
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 that was horrible. Tulo was always going to be out by a mile.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Tulo looked a bit slow there, better than going all out, injuring himself and still being out though.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Tulo was so damn slow there my god.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Man, Luis Rivera is really bad at his job
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Rivera has has some questionable plays as 3rd base coach this year....
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Tulo looked a bit slow there He's been average to slow for pretty much his entire career. Couple that with his recent leg issues and theres no way he should fave been sent there.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 that was horrible. Tulo was always going to be out by a mile. It wasn't hit very hard which I think played into the decision but it was a poor one. Out by a longshot unless the throw was way off.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Luis Rivera is just terrible at sending runners.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Really love how Tepera is higher on the reliever pecking order than Smith...
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 I've had that Brugman guy stashed on my LoD bench for awhile now, A's seem to think he's their CF of the future and he's starting to hit.

Out by a longshot unless the throw was way off. That's just it, if his throw was offline we're up. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Rivera's bad though, I miss Butterfield.

Rivera's bad though, I miss Butterfield. Butterfield probably sent more guys into obvious outs than Rivera does. I remember it happening frequently. Sometimes putting pressure on the defense to make the play isn't a terrible idea though, especially when outfielders have to move into more awkward throwing positions.

Rivera's bad though, I miss Butterfield. You don't send a guy hoping the fielder makes a mistake, you send him when it takes a perfect throw to beat the runner. It's just another in a comically long list of horrible sends by Rivera
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 f*** off Montero. We should trade for a good rental backup catcher and get them signed to an extension for next year +. Such a sore spot all season, really don't want to see another year of it.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2017 Author Posted July 27, 2017 Son of a..... F U Montero!

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2017 Author Posted July 27, 2017 Oakland's BP suxxxxx lets get em, aside from Trienen. Damn Dull's back.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Not much out there, bro. Talk of Rene Rivera being available, not much of a bat but still a way better backup than what we've seen this year in my opinion.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Can someone give me a quick explanation of why all 3 got ejected?

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2017 Author Posted July 27, 2017 So basically Gibbons got run for nothing, he tries to protect his pitcher, gets tossed, should be over. Stro whines like a stunned f***ing minion while Blue's hot, gets tossed, f***s the BP. Martin turns and says WTF... gets ejected for basically nothing but a pissed umpire. Over worked BP and short are best C cause the ump blew that call(On tossing Martin). Right? Can someone give me a quick explanation of why all 3 got ejected? A lot of needless barking.
