Albies drops to 25 from 8? I know he's got no power but he's got an .800 OPS in AAA as a 20 year old and showing more power than ever before.

Top 2 prospect at age 18. Bichette should move up too if he handles Dunedin well for the rest of the season.

It's probably the best list I have seen so far.

 

I didn't say it was a bad thing. If you feel a player(s) should be ranked significantly higher. Don't let former lists be a guide for how high you can rank them. I like it.

He and Alford dropped do to injury, we'll see what it looks like in February.

 

Yeah Gurriel was always going to drop after missing most of the season. I still fully expect to see him in the majors sometime in the next 1-2 years.

Green and Gonzalez were like the Bo and Vlad of their day. People thought they would be franchise cornerstones. Green pretty much was.

I can just imagine AA reveling in this. If Shapiro really did dress down AA over trading the farm, as alleged, it's pretty funny that he inherited a Top 3 prospect.

I wouldn't either. Moncada's whiff profile makes him pretty risky, while Vladdy is strike zone god at age 18.

I would. He fits a big need we have on the team right now (and he's basically ready), and adds a ton of speed on top of good power.

Yeah, the thing was back then, no fans paid any attention to the minors at all and just relied on the talking heads on TV to tell them who was a good propects and who wasn't. Vlad and Bo's numbers make Green and Gonzalez's numbers look like chicken feed.

He was born in Canada I think. He should be eligible.

it would probably serve him well on the endorsement side of things to consider himself "Canadian" over Dominican ... especially if they ask him to play.

Ya I don't think it's much of an argument.

 

Though Vlad Jr. is shaping up to be a great prospect, he's not Moncada.
