That seems possible. I'm not old enough to have really known how hyped guys like Green, Gonzalez, and Delgado were, but it's safe to say now that Vlad's hype has surpassed Snider's.

Yes, but he's nowhere near this list. He has a lot to prove at the upper levels of the minors because of his age and lost development time the last two seasons.

 

For what it's worth, his numbers at A+ are pretty decent so far this season, but he's 24. If he can get to the majors by the time he's 26, that would be a pretty big win at this point.

He's with the GCL Blue Jays on rehab I guess. 0-2 tonight and replaced by Hagen Danner. Maybe a new injury.

it would probably serve him well on the endorsement side of things to consider himself "Canadian" over Dominican ... especially if they ask him to play.

 

He might maybe once, I see him playing on the DR for the most part, unless he doesn't make their roster for some reason.
