Yeah the time to fire him would have been after his team got beat 2 years in a row in the ALCS by an inferior opponent.

I thought they would play out the year. Extension was kind of odd. The lame duck manager thing is really stupid. If a manager is really worried about that. Would it not give him incentive to possibly make smarter decisions so he doesn't get fired lol.
