Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I'm sure teams are lining up to empty the farm for 3 weeks of hot hitting Pillar. FFS

FFS Seriously dude I have nothing whatsoever against you, but you need to climb down from your soapbox just a little. It's getting pretty f***ing tiresome.
Ray Verified Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 If Pillar keeps hitting like this midway through the season, what can we get for him at the deadline?

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 pillar has value, yer dumn Pretty sure I didn't say he doesn't have value. He doesn't have dramatically more value because he's on a hot streak.
BillBucknorslegs Verified Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 6-17...It's almost unfathomable.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Jonn having a bad night Or your reading comprehension skills suck.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 wish I could realistically think they'll be better and win tomorrow but I doubt they can or will
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 6-17. We stink. It's time for a shakeup and some firings. And the bullpen needs major change..
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I'll bet it's cheap to pick up tickets now.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 No, but fans will be fans. They hurt when the Jays hurt, nothing wrong with that. Enjoy your misery. I'm going to have a beer and continue living my life.
TorontonianJD Verified Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I agree. He is pissed that the team is floundering. BUT he needs to put on his big boy pants and be a professional. I thought he had a reputation for being a good team guy, but so far this season seems not so much. Maybe that thing a while back with Donaldson yelling something while Morales was at the plate is a hint of some dissension. What happened here? Missed this.

BillBucknorslegs Verified Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Enjoy your misery. I'm going to have a beer and continue living my life. This from a guy who's location says "in shambles?" Sorry bud, just kind of had to point that out. I'm off too - still going to hope for some respectability to return in the near future.
wk680 Verified Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Pillar could have had an easy triple. Pretty shocking he jogged to second. Speaking of nonsense. You don't take a chance of making the first out at 3rd base. Especially when you are down 4 runs..... ETA: actually I realized after posting that would have given him the cycle - yeah should have gone for it. The game was pretty much lost anyway.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 The sun will come up tomorrow but we play in a dome

ETA: actually I realized after posting that would have given him the cycle - yeah should have gone for it. The game was pretty much lost anyway. I don't think most people did lol. I actually thought he had it easily if he ran the hard the whole way. I'm guessing he didn't know either.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 If this is actually hurting you and effecting your life you have issues. It's one thing to be disappointed or frustrated. It's another thing to be depressed. At some point you need to accept things for what they are. It doesn't make you less of a fan to not allow yourself to be so emotionally invested. Takes some longer than others to just start laughing at what's going on

My point was that everybody gets upset about s*** they can't control.
rancher Verified Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Couldn't agree more. Customers don't mean a thing to Roger's as long as we keep accepting what they're dishing out. Time for a new owner!
