Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Wow, Oberholtzer suxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. I don't think we needed a poor ST appearance to know that.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Alford showed good plate discipline and hammered a no doubt home run Nice

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Tellez hammered a ball and was robbed of a basehit. Vicuna grounds out to 2nd, barely got him. Jones K's inning over 6-5... to the 9th we go.
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Oberholtzer was always likely to be waived, but he's probably put the nail in the coffin with his two gas can appearances.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 (edited) House back out for the 9th. House is getting BABIP'd to death... two weak infield singles and a pop up over the 2nd baseman's head that should've been caught. Shafer in. Edited March 2, 2017 by Spanky99

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Game over tied @ 8 Jays 1-5-1 on the Spring.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Really keeps sounding like Tellez should be up relatively soon in the first month or 2. Also, Pompey should really be considered to be the starting LF if he keeps playing like this for the next month...still a lot of Spring left
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 This is the least I've cared about ST in a while I want real games
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Game over tied @ 8 Jays 1-5-1 on the Spring. You know there are some on here that are freaking out at 1-5-1...

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 The Legend of Rowdy Tellez has only just begun.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 I might have to convert to team Rowdy.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Bautista just missed slamming a HR in his first AB... he hit it so hard it ended up a long single. Me likey... a healthy Bats!

Me likey... a healthy Bats! I'm actually suprised how well he has started the Spring. A lot better than in years past. Makes me think it was smart to resign him...maybe

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Maybe? It was a steal. Even if he plays what seems like his 100 games as his norm recently?
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Even if he plays what seems like his 100 games as his norm recently? wut?

Makes me think it was smart to resign him...maybe Not to rain on your parade, but it's still far too early to say that Bautista is "back". Spring Training shouldn't be enough to change your opinion, though I would say it was a smart signing regardless, even if he bombs ST (as long as he remains healthy).

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 wut? Wut...because I asked if it would still be a steal...or the 100 games part. 3 of the past 5 years he has played 92, 118, and 116 games...with 2 150+ game years
LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Wut...because I asked if it would still be a steal...or the 100 games part. 3 of the past 5 years he has played 92, 118, and 116 games...with 2 150+ game years so with the last 5 year sample size you chose (to include 2 of his most injured years), he still played on average in 127 games. Including an average of 141 in the last 3 years. Calling 100 games the "recent norm" for him seems a little unjust dont you think?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Even if he plays what seems like his 100 games as his norm recently? Uhmmm.....
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
