I was in a golf pool on yahoo once. Got 2nd over the season not knowing a damn thing and just looking up picks from sites the day before the event. Wasn't a cash league or anything, but was still a great way to add some excitement to watching golf.

To be honest with you, I had a whole bunch of just-misses this week. In fact, the only hit I had was the Luke List top 20. But luckily, I added a Luke List outright bet at 19-1 this afternoon, immediately after he moved to -11 and was charging. Finished in the plus again this week, but barely.

 

I'm a bit disappointed I wasn't more invested in List from the onset of the week, but you can't bet everybody. He's been playing great golf for a few months now and I'm happy to see him finally get his first PGA win.

I did bet, but this tournament just doesn't do anything for me, so I'm just not very excited about it. Next week (WMPO) should be a whole lot of fun though.
