Miller's got to get the ALCS MVP when/if Cleveland wins this series. And to think, Cleveland still has him for 2 more years (he previously signed a 4-year deal with the Yankees before the trade). The real question though is whether Cleveland can afford to keep him, as this is a small market and they don't have a lot of financial flexibility, regardless of how deep they get. No certainty Napoli even gets a QO, because Cleveland can't afford to pay $17.2M to him..

I cracked during the 4th inning. Bautista walks to lead off and then Donaldson, EE, and Tulo just pop up on a total of like six pitches. Abysmal.

and inspired to comment about the tbs broadcast. it's horrible ! how biased can they get ? even their little anecdotes and replays all focus on cleveland. even when jays make a good play they talk about clevelands play last inning etc.

 

guess the jays are only validating by their play to be classed second rate . next time I'll watch on mute.

 

Feels brutal to watch the slump the jays are pulling. Gibbons saying he feels their offense is ready to breakout must be referring to next spring break :/

As long the bats wake up to their hot streak. Been losing only 1-2 run games. They are capable, just need to get hot again.

Let's face it Toronto wasn't really expected to beat Texas let alone sweep them. So in that respect they massively overachieved. So to even things out they have underachieved in this series.

 

In a way beating Texas was almost like a world series win for Toronto this year.

 

And the cubs have the most motivation to win it all this year. I would be shocked if they didn't win the WS
