Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 After the first game in Boston. It seems like an eternity ago. Amazing how things can change, especially after ringing off 5 straight wins. Yes I know this random thought is completely thread-worthy. Let's hope there's no change in how we feel exactly one week from today.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Heck yeah Then ending the season with 2 wins, then wildcard game win, then winning 2 on the road against our bitter rivals All in convincing fashion Yeah I like the last week

Governator Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Yeah, it's like we went to Boson and swapped feelings with their fans.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 The World Series will be easy to make.
CBlake Verified Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 How six days can truly change your fate, a thing of beauty.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Some of us never panicked and completely believed we could be in this position today.
Josh Verified Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 This series is far from over last year Toronto lost the first two at home before winning three in a row. And the jays have now lost travis and probably lariano

Slugger Verified Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 I am also enjoying how dominant the Blue Jays have played the last week.

gbill2004 Verified Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Jays have basically already won the World Series!! Woohoo!!
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 I always felt that they were going through some unlucky games during the last 13 games of the season. They blew a game against the Yanks and O's in the 9th and 1 against the Red Sox in the 7th or 8th. They went 8-5 but could have been 9-4 or 10-3 during those games. Stay calm.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Yeah, it's like we went to Boson and swapped feelings with their fans. I once swapped fluids with a girl to Boston's More than a Feeling. Does that count?
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Jays have basically already won the World Series!! Woohoo!! Why do you want everyone here to dislike you? I don't get it.

Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 too late. I may have left out a word - "...continue to dislike you"
GoJays1562 Verified Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Anything can happen in October once you make it. If we collapsed and didn't make the playoffs that's the time to get depressed.
canadiansportsjunkie Verified Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 To be fair we weren't playing well...we have turned things around. Pitching is the key and it's in our advantage.
canadiansportsjunkie Verified Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Also I believe the Rangers were the perfect team to play in round 1...I think some of our key guys hold huge grudges and perform better
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
