thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Wow Red Sox have had a ton of line-outs this series.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Alright easy does it now
Stevecool Verified Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 I guess Boston and Texas peaked at the wrong time
ICECOLDBEER Verified Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Who we cheering for? I hate the Red Sox but wouldn't mind them extending it to 5 games.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 I don't understand how much this country pumps up NHL/Hockey, maybe 2 people I know follow hockey still and anyone I know with kids can't afford to put their kids in hockey anymore, does anyone really give this much boners on hockey that Ron MacLean is trying to preach to us?
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Don't we want this to drag out? Or you really want Cleveland over Boston? I thought about it, and while I think the days off are great for us, I'd rather not be facing a Cleveland team that just won the series 2 days prior at home while we're coming off of 4 days rest. Let us both have the same # of days off so we're both a bit rusty to play each other

Here in Quebec is all about Hockey, and yes people can afford it, lots of hockey at every level, it is quite passion

Marketing the NHL is so futile when Gary Bettman is still in charge of the league.

I can't stand hockey. It just bores me to tears. I respect the talent and I somewhat follows the league leader boards but I can't sit there and watch a game without getting annoyed.
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Who we cheering for? I hate the Red Sox but wouldn't mind them extending it to 5 games. Indians. Really hope they win this game
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Redsox peaked in September Jays are peaking in October
BigBulgeBlueBird Verified Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Would really prefer this ending tonight. That way both teams have similar amount of momentum/rust.

Here in Manitoba hockey is everything. I for one am a huge Jays fan, but it seems like the majority of people in Manitoba only follow the Jays during the playoffs.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 TBS really wants the Red Sox to claw back in this series haha

Plus the Indians might be screwed if they choke this game away. Don't really want to face that Red Sox offense with new confidence coming off a comeback.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Id rather the indians just dead the sox now. If the sox somehow comeback it most likely means their bats came alive and id rather not see them even if their pitching isnt all that.
el duque Verified Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Boston got 3 lives left Two left
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 John Farell is so getting fired if Chris Young and Sandy Leon bat in this inning
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Boston got 3 lives left Two! Allen gets the soft underbelly of their lineup, better take advantage and not walk Leon.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Cody Allen isn't looking particularly sharp. I think I've only seen a couple of quality breaking balls up to this point. Missing his spots all over.
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 John Farell is so getting fired if Chris Young and Sandy Leon bat in this inning No way. He saved his job by winning the division and making the playoffs. Bawstahn fans will spend all of next season screaming for his head, though.
ICECOLDBEER Verified Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 How do we stack up against Cleveland? What pitchers are we likely to see start? Looking at their hitters stats they seem pretty decent aswell.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Damn you would have liked to see Bradley take that and get on for Pedoria.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Cody Allen isn't looking particularly sharp. I think I've only seen a couple of quality breaking balls up to this point. Missing his spots all over. He's brute forcing this. Just one more, man.
