Josh Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Boston has almost no chance to win this series
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Absolutely. Yeah that's what I'm thinking. They are formidable, but certainly less so with the injuries to their pitching.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Yeah that's what I'm thinking. They are formidable, but certainly less so with the injuries to their pitching. Without Carrasco and Salazar, give me Cleveland hands down. Kluber can only pitch twice, the rest of their rotation is weak.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 So is the consensus here that we'd rather play the Indians? I don't know. I couldn't really cheer for the BoSox even if I wanted to. I want to see them get smoked. They have some great players but f*** them. I think the Indians on paper would be a better match up for us. At home they have some Royals-esque voodoo magic going on.
Leafs2726 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 I really dislike the Red Sox. I like Price but can't seem to win in the playoffs.

I find Progressive Park can play tough for teams who don't get many games there during the season. Price done after 3.1 IP.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 So is the consensus here that we'd rather play the Indians? Definitely. The Indians are a very good team too, but imo they're a much better matchup for us.
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 So is the consensus here that we'd rather play the Indians? The Indians are the tougher opponent, but I just hate the Red Sox so f***ing much that I could never cheer for them. Regardless, it's all a moot point if we don't take care of business against Texas.
BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Indians should be an easier team to beat than Boston you'd think. Especially with their SP injuries right now.
Josh Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Na Davis too fast wouldnt have had him at first

Josh Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 And I think the giants can beat the cubs
polar bear Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 I really dislike the Red Sox. I like Price but can't seem to win in the playoffs. Why do you like Price?
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Just reading the shanty town of a Red Sox GDT. Not much love for ol' Pricey going on. http://www.talksox.com/forum/threads/17986-ALDS-Game-2-Indians/page8
Leafs2726 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Why do you like Price? As a person.
polar bear Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 David Price is legit a playoff choker The main reason I for one didn't want to pay him the sort of money he (mistakenly thought he was worth). Always Happ/Estrada, rather than him for me. Happy camper me.

Not much love for ol' Pricey going on. http://www.talksox.com/forum/threads/17986-ALDS-Game-2-Indians/page8 We dodged a huge bullet with this guy.I never could see why so many people were so in love with him. Thank the lord we past on him.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Everything going the Tribe's way.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Lmao Pedroia that was Bill Bucknor-esque.
ComeTogether Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Cleveland looking good. If jays advance, will be tough to beat the Indians.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Cleveland looking good. If jays advance, will be tough to beat the Indians. All teams left are here for a reason. It's the post season. Tough to beat any team bud. It's all about who plays best at the time.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 This is shocking Cleveland has far better pitching and defense, which was abundantly clear before the series started. It may be a cliche, but scoring goes way down in the playoffs. We saw it last year with the Jays. I don't see how anyone could find this shocking. It was expected in my books.
Leafs2726 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 LOL Kimbrell for mop up duty. Wasn't he a huge acquisition for the Red Sux?
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Ortiz's steroids must have worn off.
