Driveof85 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 I know it looks like things are imploding now, but for me the end began last year when they clinched and then mailed it in the last few games to "rest" the starters. Consequently they forfeited home advantage for the post season. Who knows what could have been. Look at Boston, Baltimore and Detroit to see how true winners finish out a season. It seems to me this team waits for things to happen to them rather than make things happen. Soon EE and Jose will be gone, and we enter a rebuild phase. The ALDS win of last year will be a distant memory and the legacy of AA and this team he built will be of missed opportunities.
