Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Tulowitzki made that look like a routine 6-3 with Billy Butler running. That's not supposed to happen. That was a tough play.
MunenoriKawasakiMVP Verified Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 that's f***ing huge. We will need Cecil down the stretch with Osuna and Grilli struggling and Benoit injured
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Big hold there, time for some insurance please
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 How much are we going to bet Gibby doesn't leave Cecil in to face Davis because Grilli is the "8th inning guy"
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Tulo=$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
BallsDeep Verified Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Reyes would never have come close to making that play. Great job Tulo.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Baseball 101... I'm not talking about Big Leaguers approach at the plate, or SP's pitch selection. Settle down, meat. If you had even a little feel of the reality of the situation.. That ball was blooped to shallow left centre, literally 70-80 feet from second base. Jose would have to hover pretty close to second to avoid being doubled up in case the ball was caught. If the ball wasn't caught, combined with Jose's speed (or lack thereof), the probable outcome would have been Jose being forced out at third. Jose sized up the situation and probably came to realize what i just explained and decided that the ball had a better than 50% of dropping, thus taking off and turn the dropped ball into a run. If the ball was blooped down the right field line or in right center, Jose would have the luxury of bouncing further towards third base and probably would have waited out the result before making a decision. It wasn't as simple as "you wait till it drops, baseball 101" ********.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Since Francisco Liriano has join the blue jays Russell Martin has him pitching very well. Might have been a steal for the blue jays in the Drew Hutchinson trade. Thanks Todd. Incredible analysis once again
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Reyes would never have come close to making that play. Great job Tulo. Reyes has been gone for a long time now. Give it a rest.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Reyes would never have come close to making that play. Great job Tulo. Truth, but can't we leave Reyes alone now?
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Osuna should take the 8th against their big bats.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Is Tabler smarter than Gibbons???
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Truth, but can't we leave Reyes alone now? I forgot all about him.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Hey Spanky are you going to meet Roberto Alomar at the new Rogers store in Oshawa tomorrow?

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Hey Spanky are you going to meet Roberto Alomar at the new Rogers store in Oshawa tomorrow? No, I had no clue, I'm sure you do, and will be first in line, ya weee little... seriously, leave the kids alone, Jonn.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 No, I had no clue, I'm sure you do, and will be first in line, ya weee little... I wish man I have to work. I was hoping you would go so he could sign your tits and you snapchat the picture.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Cecil has got his s*** together at the right time of the season and that's all that matters.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Frozen!!!! This guy is gonna be something down the stretch!! And a Cecil smile!!!
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 No, it was, yer dumn. Lol, nice response. You're inability to rationally discuss the play in question is not surprising. Keep swinging your pom poms though, the board needs you.
