KevinGregg Verified Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Alright need some bounces to go our way this inning. No more 105 mph liners right at guys.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Old Sanchez is back. Last few starts he just doesn't have the command and his walk rate is climbing. Which was his problem last year as a SP. So he has been a bit wild while dealing with a blister that would have normally landed him on the DL but due to 6 man rotation he got 10 days off again. He is doing just fine.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Still better than Stroman's annuals. What do you mean? Every single figure there is worse than Stroman's overall? Lol
King Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Still better than Stroman's annuals. Stromans numbers over the same time span http://www.fangraphs.com/statsd.aspx?playerid=13431&position=P&type=&gds=2016-08-01&gde=2016-09-18&season=
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 So? We are in that division. You can't just melt down when you face those teams and give it a pass. There is something to this. The hitters and ball parks combined make pitching in the AL East difficult. He's just a kid and is learning and building endurance on the fly. You can't expect much more.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 What a horseshit call that was.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 It's like they just threw the approach yesterday out the window.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Jose is going yard! When?
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 King Felix nos está haciendo el amor... suavemente!!
43211234 Verified Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 When? In the 8th, maybe the 9th.

Inb4 the xfip army tells you that Stroman was barely worse.
43211234 Verified Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Ughhhh. Martin swings at ball 4
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Inb4 the xfip army tells you that Stroman was barely worse. Stroman's problems are between the ears. He has less sense for pitching than any Jays pitcher I remember seeing.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 That was an embarrassing inning.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Top of the order gets the 9th at least. A new pitcher could be the difference. It's only one run.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Hopefully Felix is done. Let's see somebody else ffs.

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 What's with all the weak ass swings? Horrid. Was yesterday a mirage?

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 3.68 xFIP Predictable.. From two different angles.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Edwin Diaz is a superstud. Still just one run! Leonys Martin hit a bomb off Osuna after all.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Not much of a game plan vs Felix today.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Not much of a game plan vs Felix today. they only struck out 4 times against him today
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Sucre getting lucky.....Maricruz!
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 they only struck out 4 times against him today Tons of off balanced swings resulting in weak contact. It's frustrating when an offence collectively approaches each pitch expecting fastball no matter what. I don't recall anybody really squaring up an off speed pitch today.
