Man I feel more worried now than I did a week ago, not because I'm worried about the Jays but about how many games are left. 15!! 12 before we face the Red Sox and I'd like the difference be 1 not 2, I'm not sure how much I'd like the scenario to be sweep or Wild Card.

 

But on the other hand, I still can't believe our record! After seeing seasons like 2009, 2012 and 2013 where we've see less wins the whole season compared to this one, or 2011 where we actually have the same amount of wins as we did that whole season I don't have much to complain about this year overall... maybe I'm not used to winning yet lol

Would you have said yes to the wildcard if someone told you preseason? Or would you have taken your chances to get the division?

I'd say yes to wild card no doubt about it.

 

Also, I'm kind of excited for a wild card game....as baseball fans it is something we should experience at least once.

I've always thought that if we don't take the divison the regular season would be a "disappointment". I think we should take the division

Tie breaking games are always played in the event of ties for a division or for the 2nd wildcard. Location is determined by a set of tiebreakers beginning with HTH.

 

If there is a 2-way tie for the 1st wild card, no tiebreaker game is held and the location of the WC game is determined by tiebreaker.

 

The Jays will almost certainly be at home for 163 division tiebreaker with Boston, because they have 4 games to make up and a good chunk of that will need to come in their remaining HTH series with the Sox.

It doesn't look that bad. All three have xFIP above 4... All things being said looks like a pretty even matchup(s).
