We were really screwed by umpires today. Biagini threw a fastball right at the letters to Pedroia and they called it a ball.

 

We didn't help, but the umpires had a result in mind before the game started.

Gibbons should have requested a "Protested Ballgame". When the f*** to you let Boston players tell you that it was foul so the umpires huttle and say well were not sure Boston players are saying foul so maybe we should say it is a foul call, then make the change knowing full f***ing well that they knew a replay call would be asked but f***ed Toronto because of the rule that states call will only change if definitive view.

 

The call on the field was fair ball and a double, umpire crew had no f***ing right to decide to change the call after the fact and the commissioners office should take them to task for this with a warning of mis-interpretation of the rules that effectively decided the outcome of the ball game.

True. Rays at home (who have been awful on the road) and the Angels on the road, who have started sliding again.. we need to take advantage. Mariners series is a tough call...

Stop it. Red Sox won't be good if they don't get pitching.. and the ownership cheaps out again with Betts/Bogaerts/Bradley, just like they did with Damon and Ellsbury when they get to free agency. And their farm is barren in the higher levels with pitching..

Relax dude, Ortiz is gone and Hanley will be back on the coke in no time. If last year showed us anything is that offenses vary year from year. You can bring back the same guys, and they wont perform the same. That is life. Every year is different.
