fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 When will we see Travis leading off and Bautista 3rd? Oh well
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 It appears Gibbons no longer has any confidence in Michael Saunders.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Gibson has pitched well against RHB and we have no lefties
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 It appears Gibbons no longer has any confidence in Michael Saunders. Who does?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Who does? I do. He should be in the lineup.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 It appears Gibbons no longer has any confidence in Michael Saunders. He is a defensive liability with a 30% K rate, so the only way he can add value is to hit. He has been in a horrendous rut notwithstanding his RBI 2B Sat.
wamco Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I'd switch tulo with Martin and also Travis with pillar, but I'll take it. Or put Travis 1st. I could use a break from Saunders as well. Perhaps he'll be a pinch hitter today.
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Other than Dickey and Thole, that's nice looking lineup today
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Lets Go Blue Jays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Only way I can explain Saunders being benched is "ride the hot hand". BJ is hitting lazers right now
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Only way I can explain Saunders being benched is "ride the hot hand". BJ is hitting lazers right now Could help them both out, let Upton build some confidence and hopefully light a fire under Saunders ass in the process.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Why is Travis batting 8th again? Is the finger that bad
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Why is Travis batting 8th again? Is the finger that bad Could be. He only had four PAs but his swing didn't look great to me yesterday. Couldn't get on top and didn't square a ball up. Id expect that if they felt he was right again he would be hitting LO.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 He is a defensive liability with a 30% K rate, so the only way he can add value is to hit. He has been in a horrendous rut notwithstanding his RBI 2B Sat. His numbers suggest he's turning it around. I would like to see him get the opurtunity to continue doing that. He also homered earlier in the week and had a multi hit game despite being in and out of the lineup.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Why is Travis batting 8th again? Is the finger that bad Gibby said he was going to ease Travis back into hitting leadoff.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Travis is not veteran enough to just go back into his regular lineup spot like Bautista. He has to be eased back in the lineup. Atleast let him hit 6th.

AttaBoy Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 So many whiny little f***s complaining about the line-up with no real idea.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 So many whiny little f***s complaining about the line-up with no real idea. Maybe if the lineup was done correctly people wouldn't have to complain?
AttaBoy Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Maybe if the lineup was done correctly people wouldn't have to complain? Just admit it, you have no idea what you're talking about. You are the classic example of an armchair manager.
baseballsss Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Seriously shut the f*** up. He's playing injured. Get over it. lol him batting 8th or 1st shouldn't matter if he's injured. If it's that bad he shouldn't be playing at all and let it heal.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Maybe if the lineup was done correctly people wouldn't have to complain? Please explain how you would have Saunders in the line up today? Who would you remove?

BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Nice catch Edwin. Any out for the Dickster is a big out.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Nice inning. Hopefully Dickey pitches a gem in Thole's swan song.
