We got spoiled in 2015 with two 11 game winning streaks. Totally dominant. This team has been frustratingly consistent and good. Sometimes I have no idea how we are in 1st place. But its really been the rotation.

 

Yea those winning streaks are f***ing amazing, both times I was devastated when they ended, took me a few days to rebound lol

They've came back and won plenty of games this year, they've also let too many teams come back and beat em, it'll even out in the end or better, team's too good.

If we cant get one LHH out (and not a great one at that) in that situation we are going nowhere. I didn't mind that call. Cecil didn't get it done. I didn't agree with Benoit. That was a critical AB in the game and he should have just went to Grilli and I wouldn't have bitched if he brought in Osuna. Little point saving them if Trout gets a hit.

 

Cecil just isn't getting it done and we're way beyond the proven point. I do agree Grilli should have been used vs Trout to try and keep it to two runs vs their s***** pen. Gibby has his guys set,Benoit (7th), Grilli (8th) and Osuna (9th) and he won't waver away from that.

Not only 11 straight -- wasn't the second streak something like 15 out of 17? Just a dream month. Best stretch this year has been... 8 of 9 going into the ASB? Luckily, very few losing streaks after that Rays sweep.
