We should be going into full rebuild mode this off-season. You 100% trade Donaldson, Estrada, and Happ for a haul of prospects.

So Danny Barnes Closer or Setup Man? I guess we can have Grilli start the year as the closer and trade him at the deadline for a haul. Danny Barnes can take over on August 1st. Ryan Tepera will need to step up.

Flip Grilli for a couple decent prospects now that he's legit again.

Tepera has an ERA of 0 since the day after that walk off walk game in San Francisco. He's locked in right now. I would be comfortable handing over the closer role to him next season.

He also has closer experience with the Bisons. That's good research. I'm convinced.

Totally tank

 

Put.in more scrubs every game in September

 

Get the 18th pick instead of the 26th pick next year. That will make a massive difference to the franchise that would totally not be offset by a massive drop in fan interest and ticket sales as they slowly fade from the playoff race they're in. The RC is getting too crowded anyway.
