Apparently there will be no game tomorrow and instead will be a double header on Wednesday. The weather is going to be insane

There's a non-zero threat of tornadoes in the Hudson Valley/NYC region tomorrow looking at a couple of different models.

Having a night off tomorrow would be better. Give them more time to feel tonight's disgusting performance

The worst weather for NYC of the day is actually pegged for mid-morning lunch time with it improving in the afternoon. There is a chance of some rain during the game, especially around 8 pm. We shall as we all know weather can be quite unpredictable at times.

Seems like more often than not the games get played despite the armchair weathermen on this board. Not trying to throw shade it's just something I've noticed.

"Atmospheric science major at UBC and a severe weather/music nut."

Furthermore, there are variables at play such as how efficient the groundskeeping/drainage/etc. at the ballpark is, in addition to the nature of thunderstorms as relatively isolated events unless there's a squall line (and even then those don't typically last more than an hour). It would be much more likely for a game to be postponed if there was a nor'easter coming up the coast.

So in common man terms, they're still be a double header on Thursday?
