ChrisS Verified Member Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Jays have averaged ~4 runs per 9 innings since the break
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 I still think Cecil has the ability to be lights out. Anyone think he'd re sign for a cheap 2 year deal this off season because of his performance? Something like 2 years 6 million? Idk if he would but I know that: -I would -98% of people here wouldn't Choose wisely
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 I want to see the least amount of Upton AB's possible these next two months. Pinch runner, defensive replacement only please.

King Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2016 Author Posted August 7, 2016 BJ, you suck He should really only be batting vs LHP.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 That last out was a nice recap of the series. Line drives finding gloves
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 http://replygif.net/i/181.gif Not going to make the playoffs with that. Hopefully they turn it around than
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 I've been really hating the ASB in recent years. it has not been our friend.... Jays were mashing the ball going into the break.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 So now he uses Biagini in a 7-1 game in the eighth? Gibby, you sure are a gem. when you say gem, you mean lump of coal right?
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 I think the offense needs to take a nap....
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 I think the offense needs to take a nap.... They aren't already in one?
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 They aren't already in one? Haha touche. Man give me reason to believe the offense will get back on track. I'm on an ultimate downer right now

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Manny Machado had a f'n beast day today And Dylan Bundy looks pretty decent I may actually be scared of the Orioles now

ChrisS Verified Member Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Their starting pitching has improved since the break and they already had the offence and bullpen. They are for real unfortunately

They are for real unfortunately And heading straight for a crash within a week--they have a West Coast trip to Oakland and San Fran, then the Red Sox, Astros and Nats, 4 series against contending teams. Boston and Toronto will be ahead of Baltimore by month's end..

Governator Community Moderator Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Changing every station to 24 hour alerts can't hurt either, but we don't do it. If empirical evidence says something doesn't work then I accept it and leave it at that. Several peer reviewed studies say exactly that. Go ahead and try to shame me or whatever, but the facts are on my side. Show me the facts that don't make it successful. Wasted police resources, often false alarms? I just read an article (I'm assuming THE article you referred to) that are suggesting the things you are saying but have no facts to back that up other than they need to study it more. The whole idea that it could make a situation more dangerous is ridiculous. However a police force is trained to deal with a situation is on them, finding where the f*** they are is priority #1. If the system saves or even finds 1 child per year out of 100 amber alerts that should be seen as a success. Wasted police resources, etc. is all ********. We pay for it, you damn well better put out a notice if one my kids go missing, it's the least amount of work to tell people to keep an eye out for X Y Z. Obligatory on topic line: Jays are sucking right now.

Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 King, tomorrow's game needs a Belliss GDT. It's the only way. I'm going to put this team on my back all the way to the world series
Plat Verified Member Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Jays need to figure it out offensively because they will be out of the playoff race if this s*** show continues.

Would be great to see it happen but I'm no longer expecting it.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 For all the complaints about KC being s*****, they are 14 games above .500 at home. f*** Kauffman.

There have been some stubborn double-downs on this forum, but I honestly can't think of a more stupid and pointless first-worldism than ripping on an out of region amber alert that briefly interrupts the year's 111th Blue Jay game.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 How long did this f***ing amber alert discussion go on for?
