jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Red Sox are losing to rookie Michael Fulmer and the Tigers.. considering they have a huge West Coast trip coming, a loss would be a huge blow to Boston, especially considering they play the Mariners and Dodgers on the trip, along with the Angels.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Big Cecil and I will be at Friday's game, we'll win!!!
rancher Verified Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 It's unimaginable that the five top sluggers on a team would be so inept against a bottom contender. Did Matt Devilin put their bats to sleep?

Did Matt Devilin put their bats to sleep? No, the Padres aren't actually that bad. Most of the issues are with the defense(Kemp, Dickerson, Alexei Ramirez are awful defensively) and the pitching (they've used 25 pitchers this year, one catcher and Amarista, an infielder). Since they started giving guys like DIckerson, Jankowski and Schimpf a chance, the team has improved--they've been close to a .500 team since June.

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Yep. We end our season with series against Orioles then Red Sox. Could be the most exciting finish to a season ever. Hell yes. That last week will decide who wins the division
bronson44 Verified Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Well that was a sweaty child-filled mess down at the dome today.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Lol glad I missed this game. Dickey is so bad, yet there are people who will unironically have an "appreciation thread" on Reddit when his wrinkly ass retires

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 As long as the blue jays win two out of three. They should be in a good position to beat baltimore Thank god RA Dickey is not pitching. You really hit the nail on the head here todd. If we can just manage to win 2 of the 3 games yea we might be in position to win that series
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 As long as the blue jays win two out of three. They should be in a good position to beat baltimore They need all five big batters to wake up and have a great weekend. And stay away from Jesse Chavez and Brett Cecil pitching this weekend. The blue also have they big three pitching this weekend. Thank god RA Dickey is not pitching. Well yets start with that Thanks for making the GDT Todd
