Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Can't afford to lose to Big Pelf or Boyd. Need at least 3 wins in this series. Or Sanchez. He's been terrible the last two years
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Horrible pitch call from Martin there.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Why can't Hutch elevate a fastball? That's like four in a row that he missed.
Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Horrible pitch call from Martin there. Hutch missed pretty badly.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Horrible pitch call from Martin there. No it wasn't, Hutch just missed badly.
admin Site Manager Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Horrible pitch call from Martin there. What? He wanted it up high and he threw it right down the middle. Definitely missing his spots.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Hutch missed pretty badly. I'd have to look again, but it seemed like he only missed under by an inch or two. It looked like a 4SM at the top of the zone, which is what it was.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 f*** you Martin 0-2 meatball Why blame Martin? Hutch missed.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 What? He wanted it up high and he threw it right down the middle. Definitely missing his spots. Ok, maybe you're right, I'll have to check out the replay.

admin Site Manager Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Ok, maybe you're right, I'll have to check out the replay. Just looked again, you're right, didn't miss by much, but that wasn't supposed to be in the zone at all.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 What? He wanted it up high and he threw it right down the middle. Definitely missing his spots. This is the issue with Hutch. He'll be really good for 3-4 innings, then he loses his control and gets lit up. It's obviously something mental because his doesn't lose much velocity, just control.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Lol at that first pitch strike
Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 The tightness of Verlander's pants has always bothered me.

Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 That's more like what Martin wanted Hutch to do.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Todd Stottlemyre was the same in his first few seasons. He'd roll... And then lose it out of nowhere. Yeah, I remember. Hutch has been like this a little longer than Stottlemyre was though.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Zeke's first hundred at bats of the season are usually his best
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Always nice to see Miggy having fun with someone running at 1st and playing around, and then it gets completely ruined by Joe West's f***ing smug-ass s*** eating grin in the background.
Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Walking Maybin to put two on for Miggy is an excellent strategy.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Walks f***ing Maybin infront of Miguel Cabrera
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Walking Maybin to put two on for Miggy is an excellent strategy. Agreed. Set's up the triple play.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 glad I don't have to watch Hutch pitch every 5th day. hits his spot about 10% of the time. no control whatsoever...
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
