gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 1. Carrera (RF) 2. Travis (2B) 3. Donaldson (3B) 4. Encarnacion (1B) 5. Saunders (LF) 6. Tulowitski (SS) 7. Martin © 8. Pillar (CF) 9. Estrada (P) GDT record 3-0. We need a win and go on a run into the ASB. Looking for our offence to explode and pound on the weak Rockies' staff while pitching well enough to keep their offence honest. It will be important to keep pounding on their staff regardless of the score and not let up, as no lead is safe against their offence, especially while playing at Coors Field. Let's do this.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 If Jon Gray's on tonight, it might be tough, it all depends on his command. LETS GO BLUE JAYS *CLAP, CLAP* *CLAP, CLAP, CLAP* LETS GO BLUE JAYS *CLAP, CLAP* *CLAP, CLAP, CLAP* LETS GO BLUE JAYS *CLAP, CLAP* *CLAP, CLAP, CLAP*
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2016 Author Posted June 27, 2016 If Jon Gray's on tonight, it might be tough, it all depends on his command. That could be said about almost every starter in the MLB. Fact is that he's a kid going up against a solid offence and his mistakes should get pounded. The rest of the league doesn't seem to have any major issues with him so far, so no reason we shouldn't get ours. I think Estrada will keep their young offence in check with his ability to change speeds effectively. The fact that most of their line up has never faced Estrada and his plus change is a major plus.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Estrada in Coors field scares me a bit. Especially when outside of Pillar the OF defense is pretty weak.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 The thing about Coors Field isn't about home runs, it is similar to Chase Field in Phoenix, alleys for f***ing days. Pillar will be busy tonight.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2016 Author Posted June 27, 2016 We catch a break tonight with both DJ LeMahieu and Trevor Story out of their line up.

His command isn't there yet and i'm hoping his mistakes get pounded. Looking to be in a lot of hitter's counts tonight.
