He's really not that bad. Averaging 8 K/9 through a fairly limited sample size with a good K/BB ratio, and it's not too hard to see why.

It is a bad habit yeah. I remember when I was playing hockey at 13/14 years old well over half of my team was using it before games. Glad I never got into it though.
