But that, and the garbage overturned call at home, and Stroman pitching to Ortiz with 2 RISP and 1st base open is the difference in the game.

 

Well if you do that then you might as well take away the strikeout that got us 2 runs as well

Tomorrow's game should be a good one. I like the pitching matchup for us. Assuming Donaldson plays we can put 8 righties in there against Rodriguez who is making only his 2nd start of the year.

 

Ya. W tomorrow. Missed the game and caught the highlights. Stro struggling. Giving up a ton of hits again and 5 walks. Ug. We need him to figure it out. The trend isn't good to state the obvious. Glad we didn't "save" Osuna last night for today. If we can 2 of 3 I'm very happy and the match up is solid.

I like Jonn. I just don't know WTF he was doing complaining about wasting Osuna in last night's game.

 

I don't feel we wasted Osuna. I just would have liked to see Grilli start the 8th and use Loup for one of Ortiz or Shaw. Apparently Loup was unavailable. I didn't know that. When the situation got to where it was we needed Osuna absolutely.

 

I wasn't complaining. Just trying to explain what I was saying. When you have a weapon like Osuna you don't hesitate to use him I'm fine with that.

 

As for Stroman I wouldn't mind someone getting in ear and tell him the pitch to contact thing isn't working. A short demotion to the minors isn't the worst option in the world. It would only light a fire under him. Hutch threw the ball really well his last start and would allow us to push everyone back a day. It's logical.

 

I just want Tepera optioned so we can have someone who is left handed capable of pitching. It seems Loup always has an issue. We played 24 man in the playoffs because of his personal issue.
