Keys to the game:

1. No pitch to contact BS from Stroman

2. Porcello at times sucks

3. Barney > Goins

4. Score more runs that the Red Sox

5. Give up fewer runs than the Red Sox

Please Stroman, ditch the nibbling for this game. We need you to utilize all your pitches to all quadrants of the zone.

Yep, still nibbling, and doesn't have his command. Today's going to be a long day..

Now that was some soft contact. Looks like he hit that ball with a duster.

The first key to the game is not being executed.

What's it going to take for this guy to get the message? The two starts he pitched to strikeouts, he dominated, and, yet, he's back to this ******** right after..

The key to Stroman pitching like an ACE is the offspeed pitches. He has been very inconsistent with them this year. When he has them going he is awesome. When he has to throw just fastballs...its a little dicey

It's so frustrating to watch a pitcher with that much spin ability and strikeout stuff waste it this way.. His BB/9 is actually up while "pitching to contact" this season than when he was pitching for K's in 2014 and prior.

He likes to get hit around in the 8th inning. Instead of dominating for 6 or 7 innings.

He truly needs to scrap the overall game plan he uses. He should go back to batter specific sequences instead of trying to work low corners to every hitter without possessing the pinpoint control to do it.

He is on pace to be worth over 4 WAR

At some point they need to do a complete breakdown of his pitching and move him towards a more strikeout mentality. He doesn't need to be a strikeout pitcher but somewhere between now and 2014 would be perfect.
