Bautista's slide didn't even create the bad throw. That was all Odor throwing low sidearm to try and hit Bautista in the face. The league needs to address this fact.

I'd love to interview Jays fans and ask them what they think the Bullpen's ERA and FIP are. The Rangers have a 5.54 ERA, 5.56 FIP...that's a bad pen and really keeping them from sitting 1st. Pirates pen is bad too. Jays have the second least used pen to date and is middle of the pack no matter what standard you use.

 

I spent probably twenty minutes during the game arguing with my sister about this and several other things about this team, and it mercifully ended once that bench clearing started. She's a f***ing casual fan that hopped on the bandwagon last year, and is trying to argue that the bullpen has been terrible, pitcher wins matter, saves matter... I don't know how to deal with people like that. I'm getting frustrated all over again now.

Yeah but he had every right after being hit by a pitch, the thing that pisses me off about this is Odor got a good hit on Jose but then Beltre comes and holds Jose back, like f*** off let them fight, in hockey no one does that s*** when two players go at it. Donaldson:

 

Thinks its the easy way out to hit Jose during the last at bat of a series, its 98mph up around the upper torso, as an infielder you know if you get the opportunity you slide hard, not a bad slide by Jose.

He is a young guy, you don't know what you will get out there, Jose surprised on the punch.

This is a tightnit group, we feel like we need to protect our guys, especially when something like that happens, unfortunate incident but we need to turn the page and get ready for the up comming series.

Not sure why I got ejected, I saw several people throwing punches, I didn't throw a punch but everyone was in the pile, hopefully I will get word why I got ejected.

As soon as I saw punches thrown I went out there, I had to protect my guy.

Surprised and it was a 1 run game that they did this, it was very blatant, guy throwing straight 4 seamers and hits him with a pitch, when the warning was given ump should have thrown him out then and there but gave warnings instead.

We have to move past it and continue to go out there and get back to work.

Doesn't matter to Josh about revenge in the playoffs.

We feel very confident in our team to play better baseball.

Anytime punches are thrown you have to protect your guys.

I remember one time I was at a highscool football game in Texas and this team from Texas.... about 20 minutes down the road from the home team, home team returns a punt for a touchdown and the whole stadium starts chanting "USA!!" across the field to the visiting fans haha morons.
