I used to post on there for a bit but f*** me there is nothing positive on that website. I thought the GDT were bad sometimes when we were losing, don't ever check their GDT.

 

Like threads called "Does the StroShow blow" "Fire Jacoby" "John Gibbons thread + venting". If you guys get a kick out of people freaking out when we lose, check there forum

No joke, I've seen people get banned for asking questions just because the Mods disagree with the premise of the question.

 

My account got banned on my 3rd post because I said that I hate how much Pat and Buck praise opposing players like Jeter and I wish they were bigger homers for the Blue Jays. My 2nd post was also about Buck and Pat but I can't remember what it was and I was banned because the mods said "all you ever talk about is Buck and Pat, we've had enough". Enough? 2 posts?

 

That place is horrible, it attracts the worst of the fan base and it's a perfect example of groupthink. Someone will say something, anything, that runs counter to the board culture and you'll get 10 people replying to you saying "ban" and then you get banned just for not being one of them.

 

EDIT: I should also say there's only like 10-20 regular posters there, they just post every minute so it seems like it's well populated but the crowd is always the same."

I like to warn new posters on this message board that they will need a very thick skin to post on this forum, however, I think posters have become more civil on this forum; maybe the mods are doing a good job.

 

In any case, if I want Blue Jays news then this seems like a good place to find it. I can even call Donald Trump a foolish bigot, and talk about movies and science on this forum; so good work to the creators of this forum.

 

Just a note to new posters - you can read Boxcar's posts but never, ever respond to them - that made posting on this forum so much easier for me

Oh yeah they are the worst people there. I got banned from the sub for saying that Kawasaki was a AAA player and had no business being on the team and just because people think that he is funny doesn't validate a roster spot. The mod wanted me to apologize to him and the user that I called a stupid fan or some s***, good times.

Here is a serious question. If an outsider could only read one member's posts here and make an opinion of this board who would you want it to be? In my opinion most of the smartest baseball people are really bad at posting these days. I'd say someone like ABom but he wouldn't represent the sense of humour this board has.
