The mods could have easily banned more people if we're being honest. The board was anarchic last night. I don't think any mods were following the GDT. I do it from time to time but I find keeping up with the thread pretty time consuming and somewhat tedious and when if I really fall behind I usually don't bother. That being said the mod presence does seem to make a difference. It always goes better when you can intervene before things really escalate. I don't love coming in after the fact with the ban hammers because by then it gets really hard to single out any blame and feels a bit unfair.

I would just lock the thread, it's a one off GDT with a warning note that anyone who continues it will be banned. So if they start threads or go to another one, etc.
