Has anyone ever tried MLB.TV?

Hi everyone, new here, looking forward to chatting about the Jays

 

I just wanted to ask for your opinion - My friend signed up to MLB.TV in order to get a discount on watching MLB games.

 

Did anyone ever try it? It seems like a good deal, as more people sign up, you get a bigger discount - http://goo.gl/N6G1jl

 

BTW at the moment this group is already on max discount so anyone who joins gets it.

Yeah it's a good service, but I'm finding the streams are 2-4 minutes behind live TV this year which is a pretty big decline from what it was a couple years ago when I had it. Still a nice thing to have though, great picture and cheaper than getting Extra Innings through Bell.

Oh wow. Didn't even register initially that this might be a dangerous link. Those guys are getting smarter. I guess they learned that "Hello! this is a great forum, here is my website - check it out!" doesn't really work.

 

Apologies if you're not one of these Chinese scambots but it certainly smells that way.

 

E: To clarify, I didn't click it so I'm not 100% sure but I'd put pretty good money on this being a virus of some kind.

I took the plunge and bought mlb.tv this year and now I kind of wish I hadn't. Every f***ing game is like an episode of Max Headroom on acid with constant stuttering and weird time delay loops and the streams are routinely either lagging behind the TV or just freezing for no apparent reason.

 

It's a shame too because some of the features are excellent such as 4 game panels and changing home/away/radio overlay feeds, but if I had to do it again I think I would have stuck with the extra innings package on my jumping box/picto-cube.

The lag makes the service really frusterating at times. If it didn't pause or skip it would be awesome but you rarely get through an entire game without it happening.
