Governator Community Moderator Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Is it not possible that Martin has been playing through an injury (ex. neck spasm) but the depth is so poor he has to be in?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 And guys, if you're going to state some numbers, atleast use the right ones instead of pulling numbers out of your ass. wiff rate is 10.8 %, not 12%. And he K'd at 21.3% last year(with us) and is at 27.2% this year. Just a guess, but I'm going to assume those don't equal out to 28% as a Bluejay. I was talking about Edwin. Perhaps you should read the post I was referencing.

Just watching him at the plate, nothing looks right.maybe he is injured(I'd like to think so)but he looks like a deer in the headlights up there.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 I asked my uncle who used to umpire women's softball and he said that yes Tulo does have the worst swing and it's not even close.

As per baseball reference http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/t/tulowtr01.shtml 250 ABs, 70 SO = 28%.
