I no longer listen to Zaun. Now that Zaun is an analyst he knows everything; it is too sickening for me. Zaun must have been a superstar (sarcasm).

With all due respect, Zaun was pretty decent using the whole field and beingbeing ready to hit a fastball in a fastball count. He had a good approach and had some decent offensive seasons, its just too bad he didn't have more natural talent.

He's ugly.

This team has no pen. The Shatkins fans here keep telling us that the pen is fine and that it's just having a "slow start", well it's not. Cecil and Storen blow. Chavez gives up too many dingers. Floyd is decent. The only good reliever we have is Osuna.

So you'd DFA Cecil?

This Blue Jays team is looking like the April to July 2015 team; if the score is tied or if they are ahead by 1 to 2 runs after 6 innings then I expect a bad outcome.

Those are usually the games where management decisions matter

Ouch Cecil 0-5 and it's only April. Just sad considering how good 4 eyes was last year

It's shocking to me after the 2nd half he had last year. I thought he would be THE most reliable arm in our pen. Argh.

Cecil had some bad luck today. The first runner should have been out; that was all Smoak's fault, just a very lazy play.

There are many outfielders that would have caught Kiermaier's flyball; with some good defense behind him, Cecil could easily have had the first two hitters out.

That wasn't Smoak's fault at all. Cecil didn't get over to cover.

The ball bounced about 4 times before Smoak picked it up while Smoak laid back instead of coming in a step.

The baserunner out ran Cecil, which likely isn't that difficult for a fast baserunner against a left-handed pitcher whose momentum will be towards the 3rd baseline (as Buck Martinez pointed out).

Sorry but that double to KK wasn't "bad luck". That ball was hit very hard and I doubt many RF's would've been able to make that play.

Maybe, but because of Smoak's lazy play on the dribbler it resulted in a man on 3rd and 2nd with none out, which is almost an impossible situation to get out off in the bottom of the 9th in a tie game.

In my opinion, there is no way that Donaldson, Tulowitzki or Goins would have played the ground ball that way.

Cecils bread and butter is his breaking pitch and if he can't throw it for a strike he isn't going to fool anyone.

Pretty much.

I disagree...but it's hard to tell since Bautista broke in and froze and still came close, so odds are most mlb RFs, catch it or get a glove on it.

The bullpen has been atrocious, frustrating to be losing so many leads and winnable games. As bad as the pen has been, the Offense disappears in the later innings as well, we rarely seem to mount any attack later in games. Every game is the same jays score early, then the other team chips away, and their pen mows us down the Jays pen struggles to get outs. Frustrating.

In a nutshell.
