G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Yeah I'm not too concerned about Dickey. Underlying stats seem to show he's the same guy as pretty much always. Like the last few years he'll probably improve as the year goes on. Ditto Cecil too. What's up with Storen though? Yeah I don't trust Storen at all and he was supposed to one of our 3 main late inning guys

The offense will likely end up being fine but I don't think that will be the case with the bullpen. Storen especially, there are too many red flags waving with him right now with his velocity and lack of swing and miss capability.

Governator Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 noah syndergaard's jockstrap lmao
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 What if they swapped Sanchez with Floyd? Give Sanchez a clean 7th or 8th inning for now. Might stabilize things a bit.
Praxis Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Just as an aside, Nicolino is pitching tonight for the Marlins for the first time this season. http://www.milb.com/images/2012/06/29/tHt4nATn.jpg

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Is Syndergaard standing on a mound in that picture or is he that much taller than Sanchez??? (who is tall himself)
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Is Syndergaard standing on a mound in that picture or is he that much taller than Sanchez??? (who is tall himself) Thor is 6'6". Damn.
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 I trust Floyd more against LHH than I do Sanchez in that role. Not to turn Sanchez against lefties, just to give us a freaking inning.
Praxis Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Is Syndergaard standing on a mound in that picture or is he that much taller than Sanchez??? (who is tall himself) Justin Nicolino: 6ft 3" Aaron Sanchez: 6ft 4" Noah Syndergaard: 6ft 6" Our rotation of the future. I need booze, now.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Is Syndergaard standing on a mound in that picture or is he that much taller than Sanchez??? (who is tall himself) Thor is 6'6, Sanch is 6'4.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Not to turn Sanchez against lefties, just to give us a freaking inning. I get it. I think its being considered by the FO now. I'd be surprised if it wasn't. If Cecil and Storen were pitching like their track records now, its obvious it wouldn't be an issue. Floyd should be fine in the rotation. Atkins public comments about the pen signal it.
