Not even close to interested in going to Sunday's game. Watching this team without anything else to do is really unappealing atm.

 

I know. I was saying pretty much the same thing yesterday. At least I can snag an MVP bobblehead and be at the skydome with a packed house.

Yeah Ben Revere as a 4th OF wouldn't look so bad right now. Although paying him 7 Million to be a 4th OF would have been steep.

 

Sure it's steep but it came down to giving that money to him or to Drew Storen. At the time, I figured Storen was the better investment and just assumed that the team would upgrade over Carrera anyways but I was wrong about the later and now have doubts about the former. The way things look right now, I probably don't make that trade but that being said there's still time for it to work out. The team could give up on Carrera at any time and the book's not yet closed on Storen.

The depth is fine but for whatever reason they are bypassing all of the better options. + Gibbons.

 

There really wasn't any reason not to acquire a 4th proven viable MLB OF. A 4-5-6 of Pompey, Carrera, Ceciliani was always underwhelming given Saunders' history.
