It looks like there will be rain delays this afternoon in Boston - http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/boston-ma/02108/hourly-weather-forecast/348735?hour=9

 

Looking at the radar it appears as though it might pass if they wait long enough - http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/boston-ma/02108/weather-radar/348735

 

The Blue Jays and Red Sox might need several pitchers this afternoon.

We will have a shot at a win with Estrada if the rain stays away....Tue against the Tigers the Jays haven't committed to Sanchez...is this a rest thing?

Dude I'm trying to put this in a nice way, because you're "trade proposals" are always garbage. Why would the Yankees want 2 players who are both free agents after this season? And If they are planning on making the playoffs, they wouldn't be trading Miller away.

 

You should put at least 10 seconds of thought into it before you just whip up some trade scenario.

Dude because they are not much more worse then us right now!

 

They need a first baseman to replace Tex now and next year!

 

They have a above average bullpen even without Millar but need starters now more! If they want Chavez they can have him too for all I care!

 

Money doesn't matter to them and winning does!

 

With a thin free agent market they might see this as a Win Win and extend and sign them both as well.

Barney played at 3rd yesterday with Goins at SS. I would prefer to keep that combination.

 

Barney has been hitting well and Goins has shown signs of hitting to the opposite field more like he did last year; one of Goins' biggest problems this year has been repeatedly hitting into the shift by pulling groundballs.

They're a lot worse than us, and I highly doubt you see them chasing impending free agents in trades unless they go on some sort of big run.

I think our team is better than its record. Honestly I think the Yankees lineup kind of sucks, if they didn't have that amazing back end of the bullpen there would really be nothing there to fear at all. I think they'd be foolish to make any sort of "go for it" move with their roster, they just aren't winning squat with that group.

Yankees need to rebuild, not trade for old guys

 

So by qualifying either or both they may pick up draft picks too!

 

They may extend EE as well ?

 

Rebuild for them is easy when you can buy a Team!!!

 

Sign international Free agents at will.

 

Plus sign any free agent they wish!

Donaldson is in the lineup, but will there be a game with the rain in the Boston area. I can't say I agree with the lineup. Goins had a good game yesterday, so why take him out for Dominguez (at 3rd, and Barney switches back to SS) - I guess the Boston pitcher is a left-hander though.

Add EE to the mix and there offense gets a boost too!

Smoak hurting?

 

More likely an off-day after playing 21 straight--and to get EE some 1B time, as they have a NL series with Philly next week with no DH for 2 games.
