o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 really hate Wilner losing his s*** on balls that get caught on the warning track.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 He must have learned from Buck at least with buck you can see for yourself that it was a weak fly ball. can't do that with radio
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Saunders with another monster shot.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Woohoo, Saunders goes yard again.
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Did we ever find out who had the bad medicals? Saunders looks solid.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Saunders looks great yes, he looks amazing on the radio
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 yes, he looks amazing on the radio He did look good on TV the other day, the man is getting results.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Man Sanchez is really coming out strong lol. Another 2 strikeouts in his 1st inning today. To whomever is listening, were they swinging?
flafson Verified Member Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Did we ever find out who had the bad medicals? Saunders looks solid. All they said was, one of our minor leaguers. Asking price on Bruce was low, so probably prospects most people don't know.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Its early but he has yet to walk anyone in 3IP that is the more impressive thing here lol
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 He did look good on TV the other day, the man is getting results. I know what you meant.... but it was still funny being said during a radio broadcast. just have to hope Saunders has a healthy year for a change
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Its early but he has yet to walk anyone in 3IP that is the more impressive thing here lol I think both are equally impressive lol. This is a guy with 5.7 K/9 and 5.1 BB/9 last year as a starter LOL.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 My Sanchez guy is pitching well so far.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 This is a weird turn of events. Sanchez now has 6 K's and 0 BB's in 4 IP this spring.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 My Sanchez guy is pitching well so far. You jinxed him bro?
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Sanchez gets a called strike 3 on a curveball; Wilner - "just give him a rotation spot now!" Sanchez who can't miss bats proceeds to give up three line drive hits to garbage baseball players. Saved by baserunning error.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Hutch out, Sancheezy out, Floyd IN!

Laika Community Moderator Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Were the strikeouts in his 1st inning called as well? I think swinging on fastballs. I think you need to take these short outings from Sanchez with a grain of salt though. He's basically relieving right now. Once he starts going ~5 innings or more then you'll see if he's made any SP gains.

That said it was 91mph LOL, so it could use some work, maybe a better grip.

He probably has long fingers so you think he could find some kind of changeup / palm / split grip that would work for him.
