Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 - Marco Estrada makes 32 starts and carries an ERA under 3.75 - Aaron Sanchez pitches 60+ games in relief with an ERA in the low 3s - Gavin Floyd makes at least 10 effective starts - Tulo hovers around league average offensively and spends significant time on the IR - Edwin signs a reasonable 4 year contract before the end of the season Apparently you don't understand what a bold prediction is
GD Old-Timey Member Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 One of Bautista/Edwin is traded by early May Russell Martin is leading off by mid April JA Happ pitches like a borderline #2 Osuna starts off the season with a big ERA/xFIP differential and the team uses it as an excuse to send him down for service time (not really bold whatever) Darwin Barney gets 300 PA One of the AAAA outfielders gets 450 PA and actually plays well Dalton Pompey suxxxxxxxxxxx

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 - Stroman has an ERA under 3. - Pillar has a 4 WAR season - Tulo has a 5 WAR season and plays in 140 games - Drew Hutchison makes 25 starts this season and has an ERA under 3.8 - Aaron Sanchez has a significant arm injury - EE regresses and has a wRC+ of 120 or lower -Colabello makes more starts at 1st Base than Justin Smoak
skicross1 Verified Member Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Stroman is undefeated before the all star break carrying a sub 2 era Collabello seizes the job at first and smoak is traded at the deadline for bullpen depth Saunders has bounce back season and bats 250 with 15 hrs balancing out a righty heavy lineup Donaldson struggles early and tulo picks up the slack moving into the two spot by mid may Bautista or edwin get traded at the deadline for a pitching prospect
JuniorFelix Verified Member Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Happ wins 15. Saunders.
Cyborg Verified Member Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Donaldson and Tulo outWAR Bryce Harper.

The Darrells will be displeased.
King Old-Timey Member Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Donaldson quits baseball to become an actor after his stint on Vikings.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Donaldson and Tulo outWAR Bryce Harper. Combined?
GD Old-Timey Member Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 All but bolded, while improbable, are not improbable enough. The Darrells will be displeased. Aren't I borderline Norman at this point anyway
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 I don't think you understand what we're doing here Kevin Pillar -> Hitting lead off = more patient = .310 .370 .450, because of his defense and because he gets more plate appearances than anyone else he leads major league baseball in WAR Osuna struggles in the bullpen, gets sent down in late May, re-made into starter, back up July 14th, goes 10-3 2.90ish, a la Juan Guzman Style. Justin Smoak age 29 -- in 2020 they say "we need to find the next Bautista/EE/Smoak all three blossomed at the magic age 29"
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Bautista makes 25 starts min @ 1B Tulo's wRC+ > 150 again but he only plays 100 gms Pompey breaks out - 120 wRC+, swipes 30 bases and takes over CF for Pillar who is injured diving for ball. Saunders WAR > 2 Travis shoulder plagues him 2016.
Virgil_Hiltz Verified Member Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Kevin Pillar will draw 10 walks this season. I'll take my grandson to Jays home game and will need to take at least $300 for concessions stand 2 hot dogs and drinks and still wont have enough money.
