Olney has a piece saying there were multiple snags but it's behind the paywall.

Yep, here in Winnipeg there is. $12.95 for all you can eat chicken, fries, gravy and pop, but you can only be there for one hour.

Lol. My heart goes out to the sad f*** who needs to have that rule enforced. (Apologies if it's you.)

In half hour my Dominican family, include my donkey, devours the whole restaurant.

$12.95 seems a bit steep for just chicken and fries. They don't even throw in some green coleslaw at that price?

Elliot is one of the Toronto guys that actually has sources and posts legit rumours.

My comments are bias as I despise the man. I hate Jeff Blair too.....with a passion.

They have KFC buffet down in Florida where my parents are. They took us there one night "as a treat" (as they put it). It was disgusting. As expected.

Is green cole slaw different than others? Feel like I may be missing out

There are really two main types of coleslaw: oil/vinegar and creamy. Then there's a few different ways of cutting the cabbage. I would never cut cabbage the way KFC does. Loses all texture, and leaks water everywhere. That's hashed cabbage. Chopped cabbage is best for water retention and satisfying crunch. I believe KFC also uses an oil/vinegar dressing.

Coleslaw is the best. Try looking up a recipe and making some. I'm a creamy slaw guy mostly, I make mine with a mayo and vinegar based dressing with a little bit of sugar. Radishes and even some granny Smith go in nicely, too.

in Sweden you get oil/vinegar coleslaw with pizza. It's really good. It needs to be aged a few days to get a really good flavor though. mmmmm coleslaw

Cabbage and onions are two of the best vegetables imo. Onions are king. Cabbage is like lettuce's hot mom. I'll take a good slaw over any other salad every single time.

I like some Kimchi too, but some is way too strong for me. Had some new years Kimchi that was fermented for 6 months, that was more interesting than good. The garlic really dominated the taste.

I'm a pepper person... love my jalapenos and chili peppers. Jalapeno stuff with cream cheese on the grill is amazing.

A lot of people seem to be either oil/vinegar or creamy but not both. I've just never tried an oil/vinegar slaw where I wouldn't have preferred a creamy one in its place. Best slaw from a chain restaurant has to be Earls imo. I really want to find out what they put in the dressing, tastes almost like buttermilk and then they throw some fresh chives in that bitch. When I make slaw at home, I'm going green cabbage (red makes the dressing look like pepto bismol after a few days) carrot, onion, radish, green apple and some celery seed is really nice too.

f*** I'm really hungry. Plus I'm rambling due to lack of sleep.

I like both... I have to agree that chives in the creamy is a really big YES! Not a fan of fruit in my slaw though.

when in the deep south, try some slaw at family owned restaurants. the old recipes are usually the best. chain stuff is so full of chemicals that you really don't want to know about.

my state during most regular season games. nothing worse than being hungry and tired. A person makes so many bad food choices when tired
