Because they sure didn't act like it for decades. But a resurgence and playoff run and all of a sudden they never left. But it's like they got amnesia for 20 years and talk about the Cito, Carter and Alomar days.

 

I hate people with amnesia.

 

To be fair, after the strike, attendance went down for years with plenty of clubs. A team winner brings in fans and yes it's largely casuals. Same thing in most cities bro.

If the hold up is a "B level" prospect, and not Saunders or money, then there's probably a shot.
