Your wrong, 2k was never in the same league as the show, 2k7 had a tonne if major issues, the sim engione was broken, stats in franchise were a mess...AI was over aggressive and swung at almost anything near the strike zone leading to low pitch counts and 3-4 pitch innings all the time. Homeruns were over powered and way to frequent, fielding and baserunning bad a tonne of issues... just to name a few. That game was borked which is why they went into a totally new direction with 2k8 and 9, but they somehow managed to make it worse to the point the series became irrelevant. 2k baseball could not hold the shows jock strap.

CD Project, From Software, and numerous PC rpg developers are better then bioware, Bioware and bethesda are the mosty overrated developers on the planet, RPG's the casual action gamer.. bioware is a shell of their former selves. Cyberpunk won't be a 2016 title sadly.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHA, 2K was utter garbage, wtf are you smoking. I went from 360 to ps3, and went from 2k to the show and boy what a difference. MLB the show made 2k look like it was low budget title made my inexperienced developers. That game was ass that had a plethora of issues and did not touch the shows authenticity and realistic gameplay, stats....Heck 40 pitch complete games were the norm in that game. 2k baseball won worst sports game of the year several years....... It was so bad the show in 1 platform outsold 2k on 3 platforms, to the point they stopped making them. MLB 07 was way better even back then not sure what you are talking about.

Issues exist, but the game is not unplayable like the nonsense you were going on with, nor does the catcher do dives ever unless you are hitting the dive button. Again you guys are doing something wrong, are simply can;t use a controller properly...No one on OS sports, No reviewers nor anyone I know who plays online has ever had any of these issues nor has other guy in this thread. Saying there are issues sure, fielding could be more streamlined and bugs exists like every game, but saying it was terrible and unplayable is FUD. several being one, no one has had any of the other issues you had nor is saying it is unplayable, it is the highest rated sports franchise for a decade for a reason. The issue the other poster had was him not being very good....he is not in the right spot to catch the ball in time. the show is a sim, not arcade baseball. It takes practice. Keep in mind fielding can be tailored in the show to play any way you wish.

Nobody has, I am pretty sure they are trying to play with their feet or are simple very slow. If it was as bad as these guys were saying places like OS sports would be in an uproar as would reviewers, who don;t even play much baseball to begin with these issues simply don't exist, they are doing something wrong or have an agenda. not to mention almost every aspect of the show can be tweaked to how you want to play, including fielding assists, etc..

Yep. It's not even close . People let nostalgia cloud their judgement. High heat was as good as mvp. The show is the most realistic depiction of its sport in gaming.

How so? Just showing how dumb using a glitch video as meaning anything, every game ever made has them...if your catcher is diving when trying to throw the ball you either have a broken controller, are slow, or have a busted install, never seen it in 100's of games nor have I seen a single person post it anywhere on any forum online. The stuff your seeing is not in the game at all, or only rare occasions, maybe stop running into walls lol.

Yeah 1 video for a glitch..I can find that with every game ever made...doesn;t mean it's frequent or makes the game unplayable, try harder, every game has glitches.

? If a person plays hundreds hours of the show a year how is it not worth it to them? I know guys who play the show constantly all year..... If you can;t understand some people would find that good value yes, you are an idiot. Again how is it any different then buying a console for any game? The concept of value is not hard to understand, well maybe it is for you I guess.

I never said you cheesed you brought up other players throwing pitches in the dirty and cheesing online. There is either something wrong with your copy or you are handicap. That never happens to anyone I know, no reviewers had these issues nor do any regular players. Its hard to take you serious when you have all these issues no one else reports....no reviews had them how do yuo explain this? The catcher issue lmao, again are you handicap? WTF are you doing? That does not happen period.

If you are a baseball fan and a gamer yes...again with the "Fanboy "nonsense' 400 bucks for many is not much, and what is worth 400 is different from person to person. I don't know anyone who bought a ps4 for MLB the show and regretted it, but once you get the system the vast majority will play and buy other games, barely anyone actually buys a system for just 1 game....... It is no different then people buying a console for uncharted, halo, gran tursimo, how does that make me a fanboy? All I see ids you being ignorant.

Ok now I know your lying, show me videos of this "Unplayable" game. I have 100 + hours in the show and have not seen any of what you say nor do I know anyone who did, no one in the league or friends or any game The game was stellar. Again if it was "unplayable" why was it not an issue for reviews or no one talking about it on any game sports forums? WTF does this have to do with the game?? Jesus thats just people being morons online get a clue , happens in every game online its why you join a league with rules. Blaming the game for online cheesers? Can't take anything you say seriously. All you can say is some vague, people talk about how boring the features are(Despite having all the major features any sports game has and then some) and glitches yet you can;t come up with a single example....then bring up people being douche bags online...

I don't know anyone who didn't....running and fielding were the same the last 4 years, learn to play...Running and fielding was fine last year, maybe you just stink? No I play on Ps4, it's great on ps4. ps3 is s***. All the reviews, no one on OS sports have any of the issues you do, it sounds like a you issue. LOL a using the "I don;t know anyone", anecdotal nonsense. Maybe it's a ps3 issue, but on ps4 it rocks. Don't know anyoine who is a sports gamer who thinks the show was unplayable or even average, it was great. Post this nonsense on a gaming forum you would be laughed out of the place, either your doing something wrong or are making up s***. Examples? Whats wrong with running and fielding? I never have an issue nor does anyone who plays regularily. Why did not a single game reviewer have any issues you did? If it were unplayable the reviews would have indicated as such.

It is way better , take off the nostalgia glasses. It's been better since MLB 07. The show already plays the most realistic representation of it's sports in gaming, how can they improve it that much? Baseball plays like baseball, the show accomplishes that, other then tweaks there is not much they can do. They are a victim of their own success, the game is already stellar. If they start adding gimmicks or changes for the sake of it things start going downhill ala EA. They are doing the right thing by perfecting and tweaking the best sports game going, no wholesale changes are needed. The show is on another level of realism then EA MVP was.

Sony makes the game and LOL at xbox. Not sure why anyone would buy an xbox these days, outside of a rapidly declining halo not much on offer, no diversity.
