I don't think he's low-upside. Relievers often take two years to make it all the way back from serious injury. Like that sack of s*** Trevor Rosenthal who did horrible, unspeakable things to my ratios last year.

I remember questions about velo popping up every March/April over the years. He always settled in as the summer went on. I wouldn't be that surprised if he's back to 97-98 by May of 2021.

 

I'm guessing I'll look dumb in a year for trading him for Petit.

Petit is a holds machine who throws a lot of innings. He could definitely swing a playoff series for you. In real world performance, they probably aren't far off.
