1-10, how much do you hate Rick Porcello?

 

He actually got some really generous strike calls tonight, so I hold it more against the ump. The difference was literally one strikeout. I could have just not started Pannone today, and I would have won, but then I would have had a larger risk of L54 flipping Ks. I'm not actually that bothered though, I didn't expect to get far without Judge.

Ohtani has a better wRC+ than Jose Ramirez. Would love to see him get 600 PA next season and go 40/20/100/100.

I've been going back and forth on how I think he should be handled. If they're going to DH him 3-4 times a week and start him once a week, I think it's pretty clear that he's more valuable in the regular season as a full time RF.

 

But, the playoffs probably change things. With every game being critical, having a legit ace stretched out and ready to go is very valuable, especially in a potential wild card game. And they could probably ease of the brakes and DH him almost every game he's not pitching in the postseason.
