BTS Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Well, Boxy officially traded a 1st round 20-team dynasty talent for Mark Appel
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Just looked back to that drunk #LOD deal that got me Sano. Prospect for MLB picks deal that turned into; Miguel Sano, Paco Rodriguez (19r), Steve Geltz (24r) for Evan Gattis (5r), Mike Leake (8r), David Peralta (10r) *I'm only pretty sure those late picks on my side were the ones I got as they aren't in my draft spot. An epic sodomy.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 So is the Pollock trade the worst in DDL history, or still Donaldson?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I'll take Chris Sale. Just a pleasure to own. Almost as good as Kershaw in a vacuum.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 So is the Pollock trade the worst in DDL history, or still Donaldson? What did Donaldson go for again? Those have to be the 2 big ones right?

It's funny that Peralta is the most valuable guy on the other side
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 What did Donaldson go for again? Those have to be the 2 big ones right? A 3rd rd pick or something
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I think the Appel one takes it just for the fact that there is a face to the other side of the trade... and its an ugly ugly face.

BTS Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Seems like time for an SP run.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I wonder if havok will go hitter-pitcher or maybe double up on a lethal 1-2 offence. I think probably one of each.
BTS Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I wonder if havok will go hitter-pitcher or maybe double up on a lethal 1-2 offence. I think probably one of each. He doesn't pick again until 60, so he pretty much has to go 1-1.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 He should be able to get two top end SP2s at 60/61 tho.
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I remember in one of my first leagues when I attempted to trade Josh Donaldson, Wellington Castillo and John Lackey for Joe Mauer. The Mauer owner told me not to waste his time trying to peddle a bunch of garbage for one of the best players in the game.

havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I'll grab George Springer and Jose Fernandez.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I'll grab George Springer and Jose Fernandez. Risky. GD approved!
Laika Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 The best (worst) DDL trade in terms of "what the pick became" happened in the 2013 draft too. BTS Torii Hunter KingKat Roy Oswalt, Mookie Betts That happened simultaneously with this: 100 The True Cardinals - Mookie Betts BTS "pick and traded" Betts for Hunter!
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Nice picks. AG has to go bat here, I'm guessing a 1B.
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I'll take Madison Bumgarner

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I'll take Madison Bumgarner You now have my DDL pitching staff. I'll be interested to see how you manage to compete in hitting, though.
Laika Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 You now have my DDL pitching staff. I'll be interested to see how you manage to compete in hitting, though. 7 Chris Colabellos and 1 or 2 Justin Bours
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Going to have to find my staff later. Taking Joey Votto.
