How much did his apparently move to the OF affect your thinking? Much more attractive at 3B. I'm hoping he keeps eligibility for at least a few years (or GETS it in LOD)

It didn't really affect my decision too much, because I think he's going to challenge for 40 HR perennially. If that happens, he's almost as good as Stanton. He'll have 3B this year though, which is nice. It won't take much for him to retain it for a few years, and I don't think they will rule out moving him back there in the future. Trevor Plouffe isn't exactly Josh Donaldson. A 15.8% BB rate as a rookie is sensational, let alone his ISO as a 22 year old. I think his K rate will settle in the high 20s.

3B and OF are actually pretty close in value. Having both is even better.
