In the FC I'm in the final, Eugenio Suarez's extra inning single flipped my AVG and OPS both by 0.05, and he tied me with the RBI. Losing twice on a Sunday would've sucked.

We need to decide reasonably soon what we're doing for 2021 positional eligibility. Our setting have until now remained unchanged from Yahoo:

 

10 games previous or current to qualify at hitting position

5 games previous or current to qualify at pitching position

 

Thoughts?

 

My current feeling is that we didn't change the 'current season threshold this year, so I don't see a need to change the 'previous season' threshold for 2021.

Just change it to 5 for hitting and make all pitching slots be generic. In the age of openers and stuff, I don't see any reason to have SP and RP only slots anyway.

I'm open to something like this, but I'm concerned that it would completely devalue all but SP 1/2 types.

There's a limited number of those types though, some of which probably already qualify at both. You could ignore RP, but then you're forfeiting 2 categories a week. I haven't noticed any issues since we moved over to it in the BBDL, but this season hasn't been too active with the late start and early trade deadline either.

I meant devalue midrotation starters. Did people bother with them or just stack RPs?
