What is our MILB max now? Can I take a guy from FA with an "R" and put him in my minors? I currently have 12 MILB

 

I would do this since he is not a lock to make the MLB club out of ST..

You have 14 MiLB spots in Fantrax, to accommodate the owners who protected 18 MLB and 14 farm. You can use them however you want. We’re dropping down to 12 after the June draft.

Commishes won't move a player to your farm unless you acquired a player via trade who was on the other team's farm. If Straw gets optioned, he'll get a green flag and you can send him down.

You can move guys with Green Flag eligibility back and forth, the player must have played in AAA last season, though.

You can’t draft someone in this draft who hasn’t played in AAA. Prospects will be available in the last June draft we have this year, and then in the annual February NPD

 

But more to the point, there isn’t really a distinction between the two types anymore. You have 25 MLB slots, and 14 MiLB slots, and can freely move players between the two rosters as long as they have a green flag (which Fantrax assigns if they’re not on an MLB roster in real life).

 

The only restriction is that you can’t have anyone exceeding 1000 PA or 50(GS + 0.5*relief appearances) in your farm at the start of the annual NPD that will occur every February.
