L54 Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 I wouldn’t mind moving Mitch Haniger for an equal 3B/2B type. Would be interested in prospects too to facilitate a potential three way trade. I have some CF depth and could use an infielder.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 I'm going to call up Chris Paddack.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 I just called up Brandon Woodruff
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 BTS we only keep track of MiLB assets during the year right? I'd like to remove the green filter from the team assets sheet.
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 BTS we only keep track of MiLB assets during the year right? I'd like to remove the green filter from the team assets sheet. Yeah MLB rows can be removed
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Luke Voit could potentially be in for a monster fantasy season.

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Set my lineups on yahoo until next Tuesday as I’ll be in Cuba and not sure on the wifi. Ah, you lucky duck. BTS' favourite vacation spot, I bet he's real jealous.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Ah, you lucky duck. BTS' favourite vacation spot, I bet he's real jealous. Is Cuba supposed to be vanilla now?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 That changeup is filthy AF. When you feel bad about your fantasy trades that turned out poorly, just remember the Marlins traded this guy for a Fernando Rodney rental.

Also, LOL! @ the Marlins, what an awful franchise
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Is Cuba supposed to be vanilla now? No, Comrade BTS would love a chance to visit the gulags and maybe meet Raul Castro.

You owe me, big time Also, yeah, that insane late dip is not fair. I now understand why it's always been described as a "Bugs Bunny changeup". It does not look real.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 (edited) It's hilarious how many Paddack scouting reports just put a tepid 55 or 60 on his changeup. Grow some pubes and put an 80 on it, you cowards! Here is the average Chris Paddack scouting report from 2016-2018 "Low to mid-90s fastball with good command/control. Changeup shows good bite and can be an out pitch. Curveball is inconsistent but can show good shape. Repeatable delivery and decent frame but some durability concerns. This is a #4 SP profile, thanks to the strength of the three pitch mix and command profile" When the actual scouting report is... "60+ FB with excellent command and control. Changeup is at least a 7, might be an 8. Those two pitches alone (and the command) make him a mid-rotation starter. Breaking ball is usable as a third pitch. If he can stay healthy, this is a front-line MLB starting pitcher." Edited April 2, 2019 by Laika
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Scouts couch soooo much when it comes to pitchers, like what I was saying about Pearson. Nobody puts 70s on pitchers after Lucas Giolito turned out to suck ass.

TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 60% of the top pitchers in baseball had some point where they had little to no trade value in our pools. Trevor Bauer was dealt for Mike Olt at one point and a waiver wire pickup. DeGrom was never drafted in the DDL. Nola was the 3rd player in a trade for Jake Odorizzi. Corbin was a waiver pick up and traded as the 3rd piece for Alex Gordon. For all the great minor league stat scouting finds in pitching have many really worked out? Of the top 20 pitchers last year I think only a handful were top 20 Prospects by the scouting lists too. What I'm saying is that I'm not the only one that has no f***ing clue about pitchers.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Anybody have a surplus of 2B/3B players? Looking for some depth and flexibility. My entire farm is available plus pitchers. Doesn’t make sense to move any of my hitters
