Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Rougned Odor is 9/17 in SB lol There's no way that cave man skull of his can be aerodynamic
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 There's no way that cave man skull of his can be aerodynamic On the contrary, his advanced baldness for a 23 year old should make him more aerodynamic. Maybe he just gets distracted trying to punch people on the way.

Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 I read through the rules but couldn't find anything to clarify this, although I'm quite hungover ... When are we allowed to expand our MILB list past 12 again?

When are we allowed to expand our MILB list past 12 again? Offseason. Then keep them as high as 14 through to next years draft cut if you only want to protect 18 MLB players.

connorp Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Holds monster Watson and current Stros closer Rondon available for a 2nd milb
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Can I still promote one right now and fill the open spot via trade? Yeah, of course.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Yeah, of course. Ok thanks. I'll have to weigh my options, don't want to end up with any more dead roster spots.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Holds monster Watson and current Stros closer Rondon available for a 2nd milb Offer sent via Yahoo.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 To Abomination: Hector Rondon To Connor: Goodrum + 2nd MiLB
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 To Abomination: Hector Rondon To Connor: Goodrum + 2nd MiLB Processed.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Also connorp got fleeced IMO. A closer on one of the best teams in baseball for a 2nd is a steal for Abom.

BTS Community Moderator Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Meh. I’ve floated his name out there before with no responses. Priced to move Same thing happened to me in DDL and I moved him for the same return you did. I don’t think people really trust him to keep it up.

King Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 KingFiller is proud to select Ke'Bryan Hayes, a third baseman in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. The KingFiller organization is extremely proud to select shortstop Oneil Cruz of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Cruz is a 19 year old shortstop currently playing for the Low Class A West Virginia Power.
JG34 Verified Member Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Looks like I’ll be selling, I’ll make a list this evening. All RPs available and some bats.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 I am in the market for a upgrade in any position on offense. Any pick and prospect is up for grabs. Trevor Bauer available if I get a star that has a couple years left in them. You have to blow me away though as I know I can just stick with my pitching (which is 75-28 this year) and have a shot to win a couple playoff series. I like that I'm now sitting in that 5 spot where I'd play the Div 3 winner...even if that means I get the Booze Hounds or L54 in the semis.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 I'm going to put Castellanos on the block and see what comes up.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Glasnow has improved this year, 3.63 FIP. Was hoping for more for sure, but there is time he's 24.
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Glasnow has improved this year, 3.63 FIP. Was hoping for more for sure, but there is time he's 24. Meh, his season has been pretty bad for a full time reliever who’s about to turn 25.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Meh, his season has been pretty bad for a full time reliever who’s about to turn 25. I've watched him a fair bit. At times his stuff has been unhittable. Other times he gets knocked around. The potential to put it together and be elite is there.

The potential to put it together and be elite is there. His season last year in AAA was insane, and the stuff backs that up. I was really disappointed in his 2018 though. He's been mediocre in relief, which means the ship has probably sailed on him as a starter. I was hoping for dominant numbers from the pen if that was where he was going to end up.
