Yeah losing 11-2 is always so fun. This pretty much extinguishes any playoff hopes I had.

It could have flipped before today, and it felt like every starter you had pitched a gem. Except Duffy.

With Cueto potentially out for the rest of the season, Chase Anderson rehabbing and question marks surrounding both Peacock and Montgomery I'm in search of SP. I'd like to add one, maybe two SP and potentially another RP.

Assets I'd move to make this happen:

1st and 2nd RD MiLB

1st RD Waiver

Didi/Cozart

Mitch Haniger

Ian Desmond

Matt Adams

Jharel Cotton

Brock Stewart

Carter Capps

Isan Diaz

Yadier Alvarez

Braxton Garrett

Kyle Lewis

Harrison Bader

And if you're willing to deal a young stud I'd consider moving Juan Soto as well.

Is Wacha a young stud?

Vargas more than makes up for any bad luck you've had with Kennedy.

I don't think I've had bad luck with Kennedy. He's just a back end guy who lost a bit and isn't really usable anymore.

Trade deadline in 11 days. I would love to move any or all of the following really awesome players:

Alex Avila or Travis d'Arnaud - A pick or prospect upgrade gets it done.

Lucas Duda - 137 wRC+ this season; he's been really good, and slides in beautifully to your utility (or 1B) slot. Possible keeper right here, as he's still 31 and having another great season. Best offer takes him. Picks, prospects, roster players, whatever.

Ryon Healy - 20 homers, but has been mostly disappointing for the majority of the season. Would consider a prospect or taking a flyer on another similarly struggling hitter/pitcher in the majors. Nice buy-low oppo here for someone.

Ivan Nova - 94 xFIP- in 142.2 IP this year. He's not a fluke at this point; he's comfortably a #4-5 fantasy arm. Asking a 1st Rd MiLB pick or a solid prospect. Would also consider a hitter or reliever in the majors in return.

Tommy Hunter - good numbers on the season as a whole, but his numbers since May 28 are indicative of that of a top bullpen arm: 28.2 IP, 13 HLD, 10.67 K/9, 2.2 BB/9, 1.26 ERA, 1.96 FIP. Would consider a pick or prospect, or packaging him with one or two of the other guys here (or below) for a nicer piece in return.

With the deadline only 6 days away, all of the above guys are still on the block.

I could also move Brad Hand or Drew Pomeranz if I get a good enough offer.

Not really looking for prospects for either of these two, unless they're top 25 types.

Hand's numbers since June 14: 23 IP, 6 SV, 8 HLD, 28 K, 2 BB, 0 (ZERO!) ERA, 0.97 FIP, 1.90 xFIP. f***ing stud! And he's been great all season long. I'm not motivated to move him, but I know contenders are looking for this exact type of acquisition before the deadline, so if someone gives me what I want, he's yours.

Pomeranz: 9.47 K/9, 3.36 BB/9, 3.36 ERA, 87 xFIP- in 120.2 IP this season. Healthy for almost the entire season - actually been healthy for the majority of the last two seasons.

I'd be willing to package a couple/few players together for roster upgrades.

I'm away all weekend, so things will have to wrap up by this Friday night if you're interested in any of my players. 4 days until my trade deadline.

Gonna be a crazy finish for the last few playoff spots. Dinger, Cyborg, and JG34 are currently within 8 games of 8th, 8.5 games of 7th, and 10 games of 6th.

We will have to see if my offence can offset my pitching and squeak me into the playoffs.

At least you got off the Vargas train in time.

Still holding in BORED. Gimme two more months of that crafty lefty magic.

Lol my team is so fokt. 8 games back of a playoff spot and all quiet on the Syndergaard front. Wherever you're drawing the playoff contender line, it's well above my team this season.

Well guys, I can't hide from the fact that my team f***ing sucks this year and I better get on giving my BORED team the old DDL treatment. Didn't think I was going this way but too many things are going badly.

Looking for anything, really, just younger dudes.

OTB:

Miguel Cabrera (won't sell super low but he won't cost what he used to if I had been smart enough to sell earlier. He's a generational hitter, good chance he's got a comeback in him)

Nelly Cruz (don't come at me Connor, f*** off. Everyone else, he's Bautista if Bautista was still good. Not cheap.)

Steve Pearce (this hurts but he's older and he won't have 2B. I'll miss you Steve :'(.)

Max Scherzer (this is one I'm not set on as he's just a beast and not slowing down. If I get a sexy offer, I won't say no, though)

Jon Villar (yeah he can f*** himself)

Adam Duvall (he's young so I'm not set on moving him plus I don't think I'll get what he's worth. Prove me wrong!)

Byron Buxton (gambled and lost, he f***ing sucks but he's still young. Note that I'm putting him OTB because I, personally, am not a believer. Doesn't mean he's going for a 5th round waiver.)

Drew Smyly (Abom is here, right?)

Zach Britton (wish I could reverse that Taillon trade!)

Brandon McCarthy (not sure I'll get the value I want here and he's one of my favourite players these days so I may keep him. Not a big opportunity loss.)

Andrew Miller (Warning! Expensive!)

And last but certainly not least.

Martin Prado. Every team can use more Martin Prados.

Hmu on here or via my personal email.

I'd be interested in Buxton and/or Smyly, if I can figure out how to protect them.

Goddamn, you guys. I didn't realize I contracted the Leprosy. I haven't had a single offer on any of these guys! You know, you could sit in with your ol' leper friend for a few minutes, at least, to try to hash out a trade. I promise it isn't as contagious as they say it is. *cough cough*
